My Speech

Why kids shouldn't play R Rated Games.

Introduction:
Do you think kids should be allowed to play R rated games without their parents knowing about it?

Well, I don’t think that they should, for the following reasons:

Reason 1
The games can be full of violence, bad language and occasionally some blood. This means that this is not suitable for younger children to watch as it might give them nightmares or give them ideas of violent things to do or say.

Reason 2
In the Army Games you are usually fighting other armies to take control of various extraction points throughout the game.  Another game mode is T.D.M. Do you know what that stands for?  It stands for “Team Deathmatch” where you kill enemies to get points to level up and be higher ranks.

Reason 3
Sometimes the violence in the games can become part of their normal everyday life.  In America it is very easy to get access to guns, and unfortunately the young people can cause chaos within their community when they go on a killing spree like in the games.

Conclusion
When underage children are playing games online it is very easy for underage children to accidentely give out some of their family details without knowing, when they think that they are playing with people their own age.Children can be very trusting to strangers, and this can be a bad thing.

To all the kids out there who think they know better than their parents about what games you can play, please think again.

I am learning to write a speech.
I am so proud of writing an interesting speech.
It can be tricky to make your speech more than 2 minutes long.
My Teacher can help me by editing my speech with me.
The next step for me in my learning might be to write a more interesting speech.
